OOPS!

Have you ever forgotten to put your car in "park?" Well, I did and this is what happened. Let this be a warning to all motorists who might assume that your car will not roll back if it is left on "drive." Of course I do know you aren't suppose to leave your car in "drive," but I was running late for work and inadvertantly left it in drive and it rolled back into a ditch...and my car is automatic, go figure!

These pictures aren't that great but the car was stuck in a ditch at a 45 degree angle. There was about 2 feet of water in this ditch...but thankfully it didn't make it into the trunk of my car and the only damage was a small dent in the plastic bumper. Yup, plastic, sheesh...for as much as we pay for our vehicles you would think they would make the bumper out of titanium.

Yours truly has been constantly reminded by her husband, friends, co-workers, and the many strangers who happened to see and hear about my little accident,"Did you put your car in park?" Like I am ever going to forget again!!!

Yes I rememeber this incident!! It was a very hot day and I think she just wanted to keep her car nice and cool, So she decided to leave her car in park hoping that it would roll back and land in the ditch. Needless to say she got what she wanted. But the only bad part about was that she got a dent on her bumper. I felt very bad for her at the time it was very funny. I don't thinks she appreciated us laughing at her car being in the ditch. But it is one of the Many and I say Many things that she does here at work. Till this day we sat here and laugh at it. Hopeful she has learned her lesson about putting her car on park and get to work on time.

What I meant was that she decided to leave her car on Drive not Park. I am so sorry about the mis communication on my response.

So you see Dorothy is a very funny women you just don't know what her day is going to be like. We have so much fun here at work with her. The days that she does not come to work I am very sad because she just brightens up my day with her funny ways.
