Bloggingly Challenged
Yikes! I know it's been ages since my last blog. I have friends and family asking, "so when are you going to write something new!?" I think they are tired of seeing that ugly fly on my blog just sitting there. Well here I am...but I just want you to know...I am bloggingly challenged!
I don't know if that is a real word...but it sure describes me. I have a friend who practically blogs every day!!! I kid you not, this friend lives the most exciting, fun life of anybody I know. Of course half the stuff that happens to him is because I think he is prone and God just has this amazing sense of humor when it comes to the antics this friend finds himself in. It makes for fun reading though. I on the other hand have not only writer's block, but life block.
My life is far from exciting. Don't get me wrong, it's not boring, but I think I need to learn to see things from a different perspective. It's like the proverbial question that asks, "is your glass half empty or half full?" The more I think about it, the more I realize it's how you perceive things that happen to you in life that makes your life either exciting or dull.
I can look at the hard and difficult things in my life and get depressed, angry and negative. Or I can look at the same situation and see it as a life lesson, and let it challenge and change me for the better. It's that simple. It's just a matter of choice. So, even though I do find myself "bloggingly challenged" I will try and write more often.
In the meantime, I will look at my life as a glass that is half full....I really do believe it's all in perception. Until next time!

if your glass is half full... I'm beginning to think that your challenge in blogging has NOTHING to do with blogging... but is indicative of a drinking problem!! LOL!!
Yay, I've waited a while for a new blog from you. I can't wait to read it.
either way of the glass being half empty or half full, there's always a story to go with it. I've learned that you can post mostly anything on blogs, but its your choice what to publish. Most people I know don't really chose to put their entire life on a single blog. But then again, I know a few other people that do put their life on a single blog. And the strange this is, some of them are short, some are long. But in the end, you understand the person more and where they're coming from. But I'm glad to see that you're writing again. I not only enjoy your blogs, but I learn from them as well.
